Fishing with Floating Flies

Fishing with Floating Flies, published in 1913 by Samuel G. Camp, is a comprehensive guide focused on the specialized art of dry fly fishing, particularly for trout in American waters. Aimed at beginners, it contrasts dry fly techniques with traditional wet fly practices, covering tackle selection, casting methods, and an understanding of trout behavior. Camp emphasizes the importance of matching flies to local insect life and outlines the differences between American and English dry fly methods, making it a foundational resource for aspiring anglers.
