Etain the Beloved, and Other Poems

Etain the Beloved, and Other Poems is a poetry collection by James Henry Cousins, first published in 1912. The centerpiece, 'Etain the Beloved,' is a narrative poem that recounts an ancient Irish myth about love and transformation, focusing on the relationship between King Eochaidh and his bride, Etain. The collection also includes poems like 'Death and Life' and 'A Schoolboy Plays Cuchulain,' which explore themes of love, nature, and the human experience, blending rich imagery with mythological elements to reflect the Celtic spirit.
