Deccan Nursery Tales; Or, Fairy Tales from the South is a collection of fairy tales by C. A. Kincaid, written in the early 20th century. The stories draw from Indian folklore, particularly highlighting cultural and religious themes from the Deccan region. Featuring characters such as Brahmans, queens, and gods from Hindu mythology, the tales blend humor, morals, and divine intervention, reflecting the values and teachings passed down through generations.
