Crimson Cryptogram
The year is 1888. Dr. Ellis, a young physician struggling to build his practice, settles in for an evening of tobacco and conversation with his journalist friend Cass, until their neighbor Mrs. Moxton bursts through the door, breathless with horror: her husband has been murdered. The scene that awaits them is grim. Mr. Moxton lies stabbed in the back, his blood pooling on the floor. But it is the message scrawled across his sleeve in his own blood that chills them most: a cryptic string of symbols, an unbreakable cipher left deliberately at the scene. As Ellis and Cass pull on the threads of the Moxtons' respectable Victorian life, they unravel secrets of jealousy, passion, and betrayal lurking beneath polished surfaces. Each clue leads to more questions. Each suspect has something to hide. The cryptogram holds the key, but can they decode it before the killer strikes again?
