Complete Version of Ye Three Blind Mice

The classic nursery rhyme gets its full story in Ivimey's charming 1904 expansion. Three blind mice leave their cozy home seeking adventure, and what ensues is a sequence of misadventures that have delighted children for over a century. They find warmth at an inn, fill their bellies with scraps, and flee in terror when a cat is mentioned. Each encounter tests their courage and wit, until finally the mice learn that the safest place in the world is their own fireside. The narrative pulses with playful tension: danger lurks in every corner of the farmer's world, yet the mice press on with reckless optimism. Ivimey understands something essential about childhood: the pull of the open road, the thrill of danger, and the deep comfort of returning home. His mice are lovable fools whose escapades end not in tragedy but in hard-won wisdom. This is a story about the greatest journey being the one that brings you back to where you started.
