Clair De Lune: A Play in Two Acts and Six Scenes

Clair De Lune is a two-act play written by Michael Strange in the early 20th century. Set in a fantastical court, it explores themes of love, identity, and societal expectations through the interactions of its characters, including the Queen, her half-sister Josephine, and Gwymplane, a clown whose performance complicates royal lives. The play intricately weaves comedic and tragic elements, revealing the duality of appearance versus true identity as the characters navigate their intertwined fates.
