
Christmas
Christmas is a work by Susan Coolidge, the pen name of American author Sarah Chauncey Woolsey, known for her children's literature. Written in the early 20th century, this piece reflects the themes of family and celebration during the holiday season. Coolidge, who gained fame for her novel What Katy Did (1872), draws on her experiences and observations to create a heartfelt portrayal of Christmas traditions. The work was recorded by LibriVox volunteers as part of the Fortnightly Poetry project in December 2019.
