Christian Devotedness

Christian Devotedness, written by Anthony Norris Groves and first published in 1825, is a theological exploration of self-denial in the Christian life. Groves emphasizes radical commitment to Jesus' teachings, advocating for the surrender of possessions, time, and talents as an expression of love for God and others. Drawing on scriptural references and examples from early Christian practices, he argues that true adherence to Christ requires prioritizing spiritual wealth over earthly treasures, leading to a fulfilling life aligned with Christian values.
