Billy Whiskers at the Fair

The mischievous goat who circumnavigated the globe is back, and he's bored. Billy Whiskers has returned to Cloverleaf Farm after his legendary travels with the circus, but something is missing: adventure. When the Treat family prepares for their most exciting outing yet, a trip to the Licking County Fair in their brand-new automobile, Billy feels suddenly left behind. What follows is two days of glorious chaos as the rambunctious goat turns the fairground into his personal playground. Stuffed with cotton candy, wedged into unexpected places, and creating mayhem at every turn, Billy discovers that sometimes the best adventures are the ones you weren't invited to. This is early 20th-century children's fiction at its finest: warm, fizzy with mischief, and powered by a goat whose heart is bigger than his antics.
