Attitude

Attitude is a science fiction novella by Hal Clement, first published in Astounding Science-Fiction in September 1943. The story follows a group of space travelers who find themselves captured by an unknown life form in a mysterious prison located in the empty rift between galaxies. Despite their powerful space cruiser and advanced technology, they are rendered helpless without harm, leading them to strategize their escape while confronting the enigmatic nature of their captors.
