The Woman’s Board continues as the Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center. Presbyterian Hospital of the City of Chicago was founded in 1883. It merged with St. Luke’s Hospital (Chicago, Ill.) in 1956, to become Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital. In 1969, the dormant medical school Rush Medical College was re-established and merged with Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital to form Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, which changed its name to Rush University Medical Center in 2003. Description based on the Second annual report. Printer or publisher may vary. Report year for 1883-1915/16 ends Mar. 31; for 1916-51, Dec. 31; for 1952/53-1954/55, Aug. 31. An interim report of financial developments was issued to cover first eight months of 1952. Most issues for 1883/84-1899/1990 include the hospital’s Constitution, by-laws, and charter; for 1884/85-1954/55, the annual report of the Woman’s Board (called Ladies’ Aid Society
