Alex Hormozi

Alex Hormozi, born on August 18, 1988, in Towson, Maryland, is a first-generation Iranian-American entrepreneur and author. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Human & Organizational Development, focusing on corporate strategy. Hormozi began his entrepreneurial journey in 2013 by founding United Fitness, which he scaled to six locations before selling them. In 2016, he and his wife, Leila, launched Gym Launch, which has since expanded to over 4,000 gym locations. In 2021, he sold a majority stake in his licensing company for $46.2 million. In addition to Gym Launch, Hormozi founded Acquisition.com in 2020, which now generates over $250 million in annual revenue. He is the author of several books, including $100M Offers (2021), $100M Leads (2023), and $100M Money Models (2025), which set a Guinness World Record for the fastest-selling non-fiction book, selling 2.9 million copies in one day. With over 9 million followers on social media, he has also invested in Skool, an online learning platform, in 2024. Hormozi is known for his philanthropic efforts, having donated to organizations such as After-School All-Stars and various education programs.
