Romantasy, dual-cast. Gifted sold at auction, a nobody who was never meant to stand on that stage, and a calm buyer who is anything but safe. Madison Zehring brought Lex Chapter One of Arena Thieves. We locked a British cast (Alexis Lancaster as Soria, Sam as Kole), scored the chapter end to end, and staged the delivery room for the full-book path.
The story
The book
Arena Thieves is romantasy: auction politics, stolen gifted, and a heroine who was never supposed to be merchandise. Chapter One opens on Soria packing to run, then the noose of the arena tightening around her.
The Lex partnership
Madison came through first-chapter intake. We cast British voices for Soria and Kole (American alt offered in delivery), scored Chapter One at about twenty-six minutes, and staged a delivery room so she can review the master before committing to the full novel.

Chapter One was produced on PROSE: continuous performance across a long romantasy open, seam-checked cast swaps, and human QA on dread, vow, and ambush beats before anything ships.
Casting for romantasy
Romantasy needs two people in the room, not one flat read. Alexis Lancaster carries Soria; Sam carries Kole. An American Jenna + Ash cast was prepared as an alternate offer so the author can hear both accents.
Score as seasoning
Narration is the product. Beds and SFX sit under escape, auction dread, and the ambush. Silence stays a valid cue between scenes.
