The unexpected arrival of America, the most famous yacht in the world,  in a Florida backwater creek, imperiled the lives of all within the Confederate community. One false move could bring the wrath of a Union gunboat upon the residents of Walaka. Only the firm leadership of a cavalry captain and plantation owner over his unruly riders, saved lives on both sides of the conflict which tore families apart.
