Island tourism

Island Tourism: Trends and Prospects looks at island tourism in a broad thematic sense and in different regional settings. The opening chapters highlight key issues in the context of both island literature and that of tourism, and deal with the attributes of islands that fascinate tourists. The regional contributions examine the key issues in specific island settings. A wide range of tourism environments are covered, from mass market destinations to places where there is currently relatively little tourism.
