Bid Time Return

The four of them were children together on Carlou in the Channel Islands - Rupert, heir to the Seigneurie, Andelys, Claudine and Simon. When they grew up, Simon and Claudine both spread their wings and went away - but Andelys only wanted to stay forever on the lovely island, with her adored Rupert. Then, on the night of Rupert's coming-of-age ball, Claudine came back. Rupert could not resist her and Andelys had no weapons with which to fight her.
