The teaching that we should care for our fellow man is not exclusively Christian. Can we speak then of a "Christian" ethic? Knud E. Logstrup asserts that love of neighbor is an inseparable part of life itself, rather than a uniquely religious dictum. Through a careful analysis of this demand, Logstrup sketches the contours of a truly secular ethic.
