"In 1998 Michael Sorkin was commissioned by the University of Chicago to produce an alternative to the official master plan for its architectural revitalization. His studio had barely begun before they were dropped from the process. However, as a concerned alumnus, Sorkin proceeded on his own and in Pamphlet Architecture 22, the Sorkin Studio presents their unsolicited scheme in models, colorful drawings and text.".
