On Thursday evening, August 7, 1823, will be presented (first time) an extravaganza burletta of fun, frolic, fashion, and flash in 3 acts, called "Tom & Jerry, or, Life in London." As performed at the Adelphi Theatre, London, for the unprecedented time of 150 nights, and in New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore, with unexampled applause. Previous to which, will be presented, (Never performed here,) the Prelude, called "The Manager in Distress."
