Corte d'amor

A fast read in a beautiful 1914 downloadable edition. Four short stories in Spanish with increasing interest. Although the language is not complicate, the vocabulary is rich and might make speakers of Spanish as a 2nd language look up the dictionary every now and then. The subject is illicit love affairs and the style is full of sonority --in fact, you don't need to understand all the words, just take them for their sound. The 2nd and 4th stories are set in Galicia, so the Spanish used in the dialogues has the substratum of the local language.
