Die Kunst Denken

The paths taken by aesthetics and the history of art have always intersected and have also led away from each other, again and again. Since both disciplines use the term "art" equally, the question arises how each respectively meets the challenges of a work of art. Debates i this regard held in France and Germany are compiled in this volume.
