Typically, when Jenny acquired a pen-friend, Nick Faraday, in far-off Kenya, she persuaded Cathy to write the letters for her - though neither of them paused to consider what the consequences might be. Until Nick, becoming more and more fascinated by the charming personality that was revealed in the letters, invited Jenny to go out to Kenya for a holiday, with a view to marrying him eventually. But Jenny had just been injured in a car crash - so it was Cathy who went to Kenya after all. She found Nick still determined to marry her sister.
