New Alphabet

A New Alphabet (In a 21stC Conversation) presents definitions, listed from A-Z of words and phrases that have entered our lives through the adoption of new technologies; and, changing social realities. The book was not intended for students learning to read. A New Alphabet presents a reminder of one-syllable words and pictures associated with the old alphabet, opposite words and phrases from our new changing world, for example, A/Artificial Intelligence, B/Blockchain, C/Climate, D/Debt …R/Robot, T/Temperature, and so on; plus, a glossary that presents definitions of words, phrases and accompanying pictures, many of them related to space and space exploration, topics that will become a greater part of our conversation in the near future. These words include Gravity, Nebulae, Quasars and Void. The words and concepts offer children a peek into new areas that may spark their interest and encourage further exploration.
