This book is a celebration of the work of Professor Frans Theuws and was published in conjunction with the symposium held at the University of Leiden, June 29, 2018. It comprises of 38 archaeological papers from over 50 authors. They range from the Roman period, Early Medieval, Early medieval in the near east, Late medieval and Modern archaeology. A great many reflect on the life and past achievements of Prof Theuws.
