Sultan Baybars' Qur'an

Allows user to view 32 pages from the seven volume Qurān commissioned by Sultan Baybars II and written in Cairo from 1304-1306. Features of the CD-ROM include: "turning the pages" of digitised images of the manuscript with its accompanying commentary on each page, "zoom function" that allows closer examination of the text, audio files of recitations on passages from the Qurān, and a textual essay on the Sultan Baybars' Qurān by Colin F. Baker that includes pages from other Qurāns.
