Beautiful widow Lady Jane Averham is trying to launch her daughters in society during the Congress in Vienna when she is asked to also sponsor Lady Flora, the willful daughter of a Scottish lord. Then her lively goddaughter Petra arrives also, determined to make a brilliant marriage.
