The fourth plague1913

The Red Hand, an Italian criminal fraternity, has come to England, and threatens the whole country with destruction unless a staggering ransom is paid. The only hope is that Professor Tillizini, the anthropologist and criminologist who has specialized in thwarting the Red Hand, will be able to stop them--by any means necessary--before the plague is loosed on England.
