When MariIla St. John lightheartedly aired her views on marriage in a television interview, she had no idea what a commotion was going to ensue! However, things became so difficult that she decided to retreat to the country for a while until the fuss had died down. She got a temporary job looking after the nieces and nephew of Rufus Sinclair, concealing her real identity - which was just as well, for she soon discovered that Rufus had heard that Marilla St. John was a determined husband-hunter and he was equally determined not to be trapped!
