The care of pregnant women who have diabetes is often likened to a "juggling act" in that so many disciplines are involved in their care. This book reflects the findings of a program in management of pregnant women with diabetes at the University of California, San Diego. It considers old and new methods for the delivery of insulin, monitoring of blood glucose control, and current concepts in prenatal and neonatal care.
