About this book
A baby elephant is so insatiably curious that he dares to ask the dangerous crocodile what he eats for dinner. When the crocodile grabs the elephant's nose, the elephant pulls so hard to escape that his little black nose is transformed into a long trunk. The story ends with the famous poem "I keep six honest serving-men."
