Women have always been close to words, singing, talking, whispering, despite cultural maxims encouraging women to be silent, they continue to speak, often through the sacred language of poetry, where there is an abundance of intuition and the possibility of reclaiming power through language. This anthology gathers an astonishing range of work from the turn of the century and through the present.
