A Sermon Preached before the Commons House Of Parliament In St. Margarets Church at Westminster, the 18 of February 1620. By The eminently pious and Learned Doctor James Ussher. Late B. of Armagh. Wherein some the grossly-Idolatrous practices of the Papists and their bloody assertions anent the Magistrat, are laid open and confuted, by Scripture and primitive fathers. Whereunto is prefixed some testimonies of the ancient fathers shewing their judgment in severall great doc- trines, excerpted out of the same Author his answer to the Jesuits challenge. There is also adjoyned ane explanation of the oath of su- premacy by the same famous Author. With King James his royall approbation thereof. (ornament)
