This book presents an examination of the demographic, macroeconomic and social trends that allow us to understand which are the most relevant variables to evaluate the suitability and sustainability of any pension system. The analysis includes an evaluation of the impact of the private pension system created at the beginning of the 1990s as part of the institutional reforms of the late twentieth century.
