The Swedish zoologist, Nils von Hofsten (1881-1967), was a central figure in the Swedish eugenics and sterilization operations. He was active for nearly fifty years and exerted a significant influence on sterilization operations as a lobbyist, a scientific expert and a government official on the Medical Board. This book examines his eugenic commitment and its consequences.
