CBS News election day surveys, 1984

These data are the result of "exit" surveys conducted at the polls in 18 states on election day 1984. Respondents were asked about their choice of candidates in the presidential and senatorial contests, as well as their opinions on a number of political topics. States included in the study are Alabama, California, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, and West Virginia.
