Joseph Burke's letters to Sir Wm. Hooker, 1843-1847

Sixteen letters concerning botanical explorations in western Canada, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Nevada, supplemented by five letters by Alexander Gordon to Hooker concerned with his collection activities in the Rocky Mountains with Sir William Drummond Stewar's party in the summer of 1843.
