An excellent read. A saga of the entangled destinies of two families, starting with a small shop opened in 1860 by its owner, and its expansion throughout the owner's lifetime, through bankcruptcy, blackmail, fraud, family conflicts and adventures. The dream of a store where a person could buy everything he would ever need from birth to death. This shop became known throughout the world as 'The Store'.
