Bird Migration

This book is concerned with all sorts of bird migration as they affect birds of the Holarctic, a region comprising North America and Eurasia. Most of the birds concerned breed and move within the area (or further south) during the winter. A few seabirds are the only examples of birds breeding south of the equator that regularly migrate to spend their winter (the Holarctic's summer) north of the equator. - Introduction.
