The purpose of this book is to delineate practical, tested general spectroscopic methods (for ultraviolet, visible, near infrared, and infrared spectrometry) in basic terms for novice users and to provide a reference resource for advanced spectroscopists. The editors have sought to make the text practical - containing important information and equations that will be referred to on a continuing basis by practicing spectroscopists.
