Vinegar Tom

First produced at Humberside Theatre, Hull in 1976, 'Vinegar Tom' is a play about witches, but none of the characters portrayed is a witch; it is a play that does not talk about hysteria, evil or demonic possession but about poverty, humiliation and prejudice, and the view which the women accused of witchcraft have of themselves.
