Consists of one letter authored by G.R. Blanchard, assistant to the president, dated Jan. 28, 1879. New York west-bound traffic was divided between the New York, Lake Erie & Western R.R. Co., the Pennsylvania Railroad, the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and the New York Central Railroad Company.
