Handbook of Black studies

The first handbook that brings together research and scholarship in the field of African-American or Black Studies. It is intended for libraries as well as graduate researchers seeking to ascertain the current state of the research in African American Studies. The Handbook has four main divisions: Historical and Cultural Foundations, Philosophical and Conceptual Basis, Critical and Analytical Concepts, and Future of the Field.
