The Life and Loves of Jason Carter

Every Saturday night, Adam Carter, a senior, writes in his journal recalling the highlights (and lowlights) of the week just passed and looks forward to one coming up. This book shares those entries from mid-August - during which a tragic accident befalls his younger brother - until graduation in late May - when the wonder of all wonders occurs for him. Along the way Adam finds his first true love and has very successful football and baseball seasons. His overriding concern is the care and rehabilitation of his brother's spinal injury. The reader will enjoy the boys' humor, feel for them in their moments of sadness and despair, and appreciate their courage and unfaltering relationship.
