Teachers' manual for the public schools of Puerto Rico

The Teachers' manual explains the organization of the US public school system (from administration to classroom curriculum) as a model to be applied to Puerto Rican public schools after the Spanish American War. Contains Appendices & a series of 31 plates, which include views of school buildings from various states (ie. Maine & Minnesota) & Germany, along with floor plans and building elevations for appropriate school structures. Several pages of period advertisements for educational products in Spanish & English in last pages. Note the book is in both English & Spanish.
