Interview With A VampireAllow me to introduce myself. My name is Vivienne Courbet, and I've been a vampire since 1719. Let me assure you I don't look a day over twenty-nine. You're probably more familiar with my blood sister, Deirdre Griffin, but she's on holiday right now so I thought I'd take center stage and tell you my life story. Recently I was appointed figurehead of the Cadre, a vampire fellowship in Manhattan, and my duties haven't demanded much-until now. You see, war has been declared against the Cadre, and a close friend of mine was among the first fatalities. I must put an end to this rebellion before I lose anyone else.
