Lady Dearing's Masquerade

Widowed Lady Dearing is entranced by the masked man she meets at a masquerade. But when they are forced apart, the ensuing scandal causes her to be permanently ostracized from London society. A few years later she is stunned when she realizes that Sir Jeremy Fairhill, the head of the foundling hospital, who has come to see how she is caring for the orphans she has adopted, is that mysterious masked man.
