Data for this study (Harris study #2137) were collected using four national samples of the civilian non-institutional population of the continental United States Respondents from two samples, a mixed and women's sample, were asked about their partisan preferences, about problems confronting the nation, about their attitudes toward investments, borrowing and saving, about various current social and economic issues, and about activist women's groups, discrimination against women, the changing role of women, and women in politics.
