Washington Theater. Lessee Mr. S.W. Glenn, acting manager Mr. J.T. Raymond ... Fifth week and positively last night but two of Mr. Jos. Jefferson who will appear for the last time as Jeremiah Beetle in the new comedy by Tom Taylor entitled "The Babes in the Woods" and also as Mazeppa! On Thursday evening, April 18, 1861 will be presented the new comedy, by Tom Taylor, entitled "Babes in the Woods" ... To conclude with "Mazeppa" ... To-morrow, Friday, Farewell Benefit of Mr. Joseph Jefferson. Mr. Glenn begs to inform his patrons that the Spring season will commence Monday, April 22.
