Europe in Crisis2012

**EU in Crisis** is the first production of [Global Voices Books][1] and includes the best material from social conversation and participation produced by citizens going through the tough times of austerity in the old continent (and beyond). Spanning from Spring 2011 to July 2012, these articles cover original stories from Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and more. [Global Voices Books][1] aims at “sharing citizen media for the future" based on [Global Voices' huge archive][2] and its on-going multi-language production. We will produce electronic publications based on different topics, regions, issues, etc. and in a variety of formats -- thus providing broader exposure to the best material produced over the years by our community.
