This edited volume will serve as an up-to-date survey of the theoretical and experimental work presently being conducted in the field of turbulence in recognition of contributions to the field by Professor John Lumley of Cornell. Professor Lumley is known worldwide and highly respected as being one of the leading scientists in the field.
